Three Day Play 2015
Sarah Jane Corvidae and I are planning our Three Day Play type thing for kids aged 7- 14 (rising to Year 4 to rising to Year 9), August 29, 30 and 31 (TUES- THURS after Bank Holiday Weekend).
It will be at our house mostly in the back yard and the last day will culminate in some kind of show for the parents. We are also going to feature some readings of plays the kids are writing.
There will be a charge for the three days somewhere around £50 (for Sochel) and it will run 10-3 for the three days. If you are interested in signing up your offspring, please do let me know and feel free to share this with friends. We usually find that about a dozen kids makes a great group. It’s now half full.
If you aren’t familiar with the Three Day Play, it’s a chance for kids to use their imagination to make up a character, then a community, then a story about conflict in the community. Usually it culminates in a 15 minute play completely devised by the children performing it. It’s not jazz hands acting, it is creative work. They will not learn how to mug for selfies or audition for toothpaste commercials and that sort of thing will be frowned upon. Message me your email address to be included.
